Bleach 381

Pretty decent chapter. Of course, being Bleach, what else should I expect. After the snarky little comment above, Mayuri promises he’ll show Ichigo “true terror”, as if Ichigo is going to finish the war and come back alive. After jumping into the Garganta with Unohana, she brings up the incident on Soukyoku Hill and what he thought of Aizen. Apparently, Ichigo is the only one who can stop Mr. Aizen since he hasn’t seen his shikai (until later he sees it for some odd reason and almost loses the fight but gains power near the end [or some unexpected ally comes in and saves him {or another one after that since said ally is down to his knees}] and defeats Sousuke).

Cutting back to Kenpachi v. Yammy, Kenpachi manages—no, he’s really not trying to begin with—to cut off two fingers from Yammy’s hand. While the big brute is whining and cussing, Kenpachi lands on his arm, jumps into the air and.

Finishing up this chapter, it was pretty good but not the best. It seems like Bleach is coming to an end*, not soon but close enough. I’m not entirely happy since there is a lot of things that haven’t been answered but we’ll see where Kubo takes this. Until the next release.

*You know what? I take it back, who says this is the last chapter? Kubo could just let Aizen totally dominate them or escape (yeah, right). That was silly of me.
